While at Redlight Redlight, you’ll taste some of the most unique Brews from National and local brands. Their brand is actively engaged in their community through a multitude of monthly events, and partnering with local businesses. For these reasons and many more, I felt honored when first approached by Gus Hernandez about a chance to work together with them on a project.
After the Discovery meeting’s goals were established, I then felt I had a strong idea of what was needed for the project. Among the most important objectives were: creating a website that was easy to update & customize, with the ability to post events on a calendar layout, update products on a daily basis, had a completely custom look and feel unique to the brand, under a tight deadline approaching the Brand’s 10 year anniversary. Given the time constraints and the needed ability to update content on the fly, WordPress provided the best solution in order to have a functional product ready for the Brand’s anniversary date. In order to customize the layout & Style, Alex Ocean from The Studio Lux came to our rescue and provided invaluable imagery to the website.
I also wrote custom HTML5 & CSS3 code to reflect and maintain Redlight Redlight‘s look and feel. A custom floating header with the brand’s anniversary logo and navigation are elegantly placed on the top header in every page. Thanks to CSS3 Media Queries, the header and layout are all responsive. This was an incredibly rewarding opportunity, personally I am honored to have worked with such a great local brand a group of people.
